Can’t be in Milwaukee? You can still watch (some of) #HEWeb19 Live
#HEWeb19 is one of the hottest tickets in higher ed. But if you didn’t get to put a trip to Milwaukee in your plans this year, fear not. HighEdWeb has you covered.
This year four sessions from the 2019 Annual Conference will be livestreamed.
The association decided to offer livestreaming as a benefit to folks who couldn’t make it to Milwaukee. Two sessions will be streamed each day of the conference and you don’t have to be a High Ed Web member to access them. The sessions will be live captioned for maximum usability and accessibility.
Here are the sessions slated to be streamed:
Monday, Oct. 14, 11:30 A.M.
The Next Layer: Baking in Accessibility Needs — Presented by Erika Boltz
Monday, Oct. 14, 4 P.M.
Getty Giphy With It: Creating Branded GIFs for Your School That Your Students Will Actually Use — Presented by Jon-Stephen Stansel
Tuesday, Oct. 15, 10:45 A.M.
Bringing Everyone to the Table: On Open-Source Accessible Table Editor Web Component — Presented by Nikki Massaro Kauffman
Tuesday, Oct. 15, 11:45 A.M.
Be the MVP of Managers — Presented by Joel Vertin
So if you’re not going to be with us in Wisconsin, enjoy a slice of #heweb19 from your device of choice at home. And use the lessons you glean as you build your case to your boss for attending #heweb20.
