#heweb19 Monday Night in Milwaukee

Monday nights at HighEdWeb are “free” nights to provide time for you to network with colleagues from all over the country and the globe. Our great #heweb19 sponsors have lined up a series of Monday evening opportunities for you to do just that — so take advantage of these fun outings where you can enjoy Milwaukee and your fellow conference attendees.

**Please note: These events are hosted by our generous sponsors and are not official HighEdWeb/Annual Conference events. Please remember that we value you, your safety and your participation, and though these are not official Conference events, the HighEdWeb Code of Conduct is still in effect at all times as we enjoy our time in Milwaukee.

Up-Down

Enjoy game night at Up-Down Milwaukee, courtesy of Pantheon, New City, IfThen, Clockwork and Alley! From 5 p.m. to closing time, enjoy drinks, snacks and your favorite arcade games. Be sure to stop by the Pantheon booth Monday to pick up your ticket!

Up-Down is at 615 East Brady Street in Milwaukee.

Sonar Social

Campus Sonar, a social listening agency for higher education, is hosting a “Sonar Social” event from 6 to 8 p.m on Monday night. If you’re looking to connect with peers from #heweb19, the Sonar Social will have drinks, food and trivia. You’ll also have a chance to ask Campus Sonar analysts any of your burning data questions.

If you’re interested in attending, please contact info@campussonar.com for an invite and event details.

Free Happy Hour with Mason Interactive

Mason Interactive invites you for a happy hour Monday starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery, just a few minutes from the conference hotel.

Meet fellow #heweb19-goers, enjoy drinks and snacks, and (if you dare) challenge friends in a round of Darts or Jenga! Beer enthusiasts have the opportunity to jump on a free brewery tour to learn more about Rock Bottom’s award-winning beers.

To attend, please email Mira, m.valjakka@masoninteractive.com, or stop by Mason Interactive’s booth.

Wine, Dine, and Be Dazzled at The Capital Grille

Join OmniUpdate for a private dinner at The Capital Grille at 6 p.m. Monday where you’ll wine, dine, and be dazzled as you learn how other higher ed professionals just like you have overcome their web challenges such as accessibility, SEO, design consistency, workflow, content governance, or how to start a website redesign.

This event is intended for institutions not yet using OmniUpdate’s CMS. Seating is limited, so reserve your spot now!

Rock Climbing with OpenScholar

We’ll gather Monday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Historic Turner Hall. Conferences are exciting but mentally draining, so come hang out, get distracted, and have some fun rock climbing! Beginners welcome! For those those who want to join us at Turner Hall but not climb, there are other fun activities as well.

This is a free OpenScholar hosted event so space is limited. Let us know ASAP if you’re interested at https://bit.ly/33c3G6O or Message Walter Rivera to book your spot.
