The Higher Education Web Professionals Association has named Sara Clark as operations director for the association. Clark will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the association and its volunteers.
Clark has been a long-time supporter of HighEdWeb. She chaired Annual Conference planning efforts in 2008 and 2014. And she served on the Board of Directors from 2013-17, including as Treasurer for three years. As operations director, she will lay the groundwork for future growth of the Association.
Association President Sven Aas welcomed Clark to the team and said he’s excited about the skills she offers the association. “Sara brings considerable knowledge and ability to this role. We are very glad to have her join us, and are excited about the opportunities her arrival provides for us to better serve our community.”
Clark is a higher education veteran with more than 20 years of experience. Since 2000, she guided the digital strategy and development for Missouri State University. Her role also included project management, outreach and vendor relations.
The operations director position is part-time and the first employee of the Association. Clark begins this new role on May 1, 2018, and will be working remotely.
