What else can people look forward to and why should they register for the conference? We asked the conference’s chair, Waylon Baumgardner, senior web services manager for California Baptist University.

Why should we consider attending HighEdWeb West?

“HighEdWeb West is a great opportunity to learn more about the quality of HighEdWeb conferences, particularly for those new to HighEdWeb or unable to attend the annual conference. My conference team has worked really hard over the past seven months to produce a conference experience that is engaging, informative and affordable, especially as many colleges and universities continue to tighten the belt. We wanted to make it a conference we would be excited about as attendees.”

What are YOU most looking forward to with this conference?

“Personally, I’m really excited to hear Dr. Barnes’ keynote. Additionally, I’m really excited to connect more with my fellow web warriors and make new connections. Southern California alone is home to a staggering amount of colleges and universities, yet it seems there are few opportunities to connect with one another. Finally, I’m looking forward to our lightning round talks that will take place after lunch.”

Registration for HighEdWeb West 2016 at California Baptist University in Riverside, California on June 10 is open now.
