June 27, 2011: The 2011 NY regional HighEdWeb-Rochester will be held on June 27 at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY. The conference will feature two separate tracks, Media and Mobile, and a keynote address from Rachel Reuben, Associate Vice President, Marketing Communications at Ithaca College, entitled, “Reflect, Repurpose, Restructure, Re-energize: A journey from the last 15 years of the web in higher ed and the road ahead.”

July 21-22, 2011: The 2011 AR regional HighEdWeb Arkansas is scheduled for July 21 and 22 at UALR WIlliam H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, AR. Workshops will center on three themes: Strategy & Policy, Technology & Tools, and Conversation & Content. Georgy Cohen, web content and strategy manager for Tufts University, presents the keynote address, “Once Upon a Semester: Storytelling as a framework for Higher Ed web marketing.”

October 23-26, 2011: HighEdWeb 2011, the annual national conference of the Higher Education Web Professionals Association, will take place on October 23-26 in Austin, TX. Featuring five track themes (Applications and Standards, Content, Marketing, Management, and Professional Development, Social Media and Technical: Propeller Hats Required), 10 workshop offerings, two keynotes and ample opportunity to network and brainstorm with colleagues from across the country and the world, HighEdWeb 2011 is not to be missed!  Keynote speakers are Shawn Henry, WAI Outreach Coordinator for W3C, and Chris Wilson, Developer Advocate at Google, Inc.
